TimeLens: compare images

TimeLens gathers the patient's clinical images and lets you compare them, such as a before and an after photo.

Who can use it: professionals, administrators and owners, on every plan. The clinic needs the TimeLens module on, in Settings → Booking Settings → Consultation modules.

Before you start: upload the photos with File (see Patient files).

Step by step

  1. In the patient's chart, open the TimeLens tab and choose Compare.
  2. In the Image Gallery, filter by date with From / To if needed.
  3. Select one image for Before and another for After.
  4. In Side-by-Side Compare, drag the divider to compare. Unlock the adjustments to zoom, pan or rotate each side. Full screen enlarges the view.
  5. To keep it in the patient's record, select Save comparison (see Saved comparisons).

Good to know

  • Compare more than two images builds a comparison of up to 12 images, oldest to newest.
  • You can turn the same images into a progress video (see Progress video).

Troubleshooting

Problem What to do
There's no TimeLens tab The module isn't on for this clinic.
"No images uploaded" Upload photos with File. Only images appear in TimeLens.
