Quick search (⌘K)

Quick search takes you to any section, patient or action from the keyboard.

Who can use it: everyone. Professionals, administrators and owners can also search patients. Staff and patients search sections and actions.

Step by step

  1. Open quick search:
    • Select Search… in the top bar.
    • Or press ⌘K (Mac) / Ctrl+K (Windows).
  2. Type what you're looking for: a section, a patient's name or ID number, or an action.
  3. Move with the ↑ ↓ arrow keys and press Enter to open. Esc closes it.

What you can find

  • Recent: what you opened last.
  • Go to: every section in your menu.
  • Patients: by name or ID number (type at least 2 letters).
  • Actions:
    • New patient.
    • Share booking link (copies your clinic's link).
    • Switch to dark or light theme.
    • Sign out.

Troubleshooting

Problem What to do
⌘K does nothing Click the page first, or select Search…. Some browser extensions use the same shortcut.
"We couldn't search patients" Check your connection and select Retry search.
No patients appear Your role can't see patients, or the patient belongs to another clinic. Check the clinic switcher.
