Sign in with two-step verification
Updated
With two-step verification, you need a code from your phone as well as your password, so a stolen password isn't enough to get in.
Who can use it: anyone who turned on two-step verification (see Turn on two-step verification).
This page is shown in Spanish. The Spanish labels are shown in italics.
Step by step
- Sign in with your email and password.
- Open your authenticator app (for example, Google Authenticator) and find the MedPragma code.
- Enter the code and select Complete sign in (Completar inicio de sesión).

If you don't have your phone
- Select Use backup code (Usar código de respaldo).
- Enter the backup code you saved when you turned on verification, and select Complete sign in.
Good to know
- App codes change every 30 seconds. Use the one currently shown.
- The backup code is shown only once, when you turn verification on. Keep it somewhere safe.
- We also ask for the code if you sign in with a magic link.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | What to do |
|---|---|
| "Invalid code" | Make sure your phone's time is set automatically, and use the current code. |
| You changed phones | Sign in with Use backup code, then set up verification again from Account → 2FA. |
| You lost both your phone and the backup code | Email soporte@medpragma.io from your account's email so we can verify your identity. |
| Too many attempts | Wait 5 minutes and try again. |
