Connect MercadoPago

With MercadoPago connected, patients pay for Online payment (MercadoPago) services when they book, and the appointment is confirmed automatically once the payment clears.

Who can use it: administrators and owners connect it and change the credentials. Professionals see the status read-only. It's connected per clinic.

Step by step

  1. In MercadoPago, go to Your integrations, choose your application (or create one) and open Production credentials.
  2. In MedPragma, go to Settings → MercadoPago and choose the clinic at the top.
  3. Paste the Access Token and the Public Key.
  4. Recommended: in MercadoPago, in your application → Webhooks, copy the Secret key and paste it into Webhook secret. MedPragma then checks that every payment notice really comes from MercadoPago before confirming the appointment.
  5. Select Connect. The status changes to Connected.

Good to know

  • To change the credentials, paste the new ones and select Update. The saved webhook key is kept if you leave that field empty.
  • Disconnect (in the Danger Zone) stops online payments: new appointments for those services won't have a payment link.
  • If a patient pays after their reservation expired, the payment is still recorded: the appointment is confirmed again if the time is still free, otherwise we alert you to reschedule or refund.

Troubleshooting

Problem What to do
Webhook signature: Not configured Add the webhook secret key (step 4).
The patient paid but the appointment is still Pending payment Check in MercadoPago that the payment is approved. If it is, email soporte@medpragma.io with the transaction number.
You can't edit Only administrators and owners change the credentials.
